The Brief

Prototype Interactive was appointed to design and develop the microsite for the Hugo Boss ‘Man of Today’ campaign.

The campaign allowed men to nominate themselves or their friend to become the new face of Hugo Boss in the Middle East. The microsite had to pair with the overall Hugo Boss brand faultlessly as well as gather information for each submission via a built in questionnaire.

The Technology

Prototype Interactive designed and built the microsite based on the Hugo Boss brand.

The microsite design was clean and focused on the functionality to submit the questionnaire. How the microsite works:

  • Users can nominate themselves or their friends.
  • The user has to go through a set of questions with both multiple answer questions and open-ended questions. This helped the panel of judges from the fashion house to filter out the candidates and shortlist the Man of Today.
  • The nominee can upload supporting material such as images and videos of themselves.

The campaign was promoted online using an extensive digital advertising plan as well as through other media channels.

The website was responsive so it works on mobile devices making it easier for users to share with their friends. The result was a successful campaign that led to numerous applications and the discovery of the Hugo Boss ‘Man of Today’.
